The Process

From notice to resolution.

Three steps. You keep control.

Step 01

We review your situation

Start by completing our intake form with basic information about your IRS notice. Once submitted, you’ll book a 30-minute consultation at no charge. During the call, we review your notice, explain what the IRS is claiming, and outline your options. You’ll leave the call with a clear understanding of where you stand and what it would take to resolve the matter.

Step 02

We prepare your response

Flat fee

Quoted at consultation

If we’re a fit, you’ll receive an engagement letter through our secure client portal. Once signed, we pull your IRS account transcripts, analyze the discrepancy or assessment, research applicable tax law and IRS procedures, and draft a formal response with supporting documentation. You’ll review everything before it goes to the IRS.

Step 03

We work toward resolution

We submit your response to the IRS and monitor the matter within the scope of your engagement. If the IRS sends follow-up correspondence covered by that scope, we address it with you. If the matter expands beyond the original notice-response engagement, we outline the next steps before additional work begins. Typical timeline: 4–12 weeks depending on IRS response times.
